SE Ranking pricing 2026: what Core, Growth and the add-ons cost
SE Ranking's Core plan lists at $103.20 per month billed annually, or $129.00 month to month, on the official SE Ranking pricing page checked September 28, 2026. Growth costs $223.20 annual or $279.00 monthly, and Agency Pack, AI Search and API add-ons can push a Growth stack past $360 a month.
What matters
- Core: $129.00/mo on monthly billing or $103.20/mo on annual, with 10 projects, 1 manager seat, 2,000 tracked keywords and 100 AI prompts per day.
- Growth: $279.00/mo monthly or $223.20/mo annual, with 30 projects, 3 manager seats, 5,000 keywords and 250 AI prompts per day.
- Agency Pack (+$69/mo), the API add-on (+$45/mo) and the standalone API plan (from $179/mo) are annual-billing only, so monthly subscribers cannot buy them.
- The 14-day trial is fully functional but capped at 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords a day and 20 AI prompts a day, with no credit card required.
- Semrush's entry SEO plan is $117.33/mo billed annually ($139 monthly), $14.13/mo more than SE Ranking Core, while Ahrefs Lite lists at $129/mo.
SE Ranking pricing at a glance
SE Ranking sells two pre-configured plans, Core and Growth, plus a custom Enterprise tier. The page defaults to annual billing, which takes 20% off the month-to-month rate and adds free assisted migration.
That 20% is real money over a year: Core runs $1,238.40 annually against $1,548.00 paid monthly, and Growth runs $2,678.40 against $3,348.00. You pay the annual total upfront, which is the trade most buyers miss until checkout. All prices below were read from the official pricing page on September 28, 2026.
What Core and Growth actually include
- Core ($129.00 monthly, $103.20 annual): 10 projects, 1 manager seat, 2,000 tracked keywords and 100 AI prompts per day, 5 domains in GEO research, 250,000 audit pages per month, 25,000 API credits and MCP access.
- Growth ($279.00 monthly, $223.20 annual): 30 projects, 3 manager seats, 5,000 keywords and 250 prompts per day, 15 GEO domains, 2 million audit pages per month, 100,000 API credits, plus all-time historical data, guest links, page change monitoring and dedicated support.
- Enterprise: custom limits and pricing, full API access and advanced integrations, sold through sales.
Both tiers include unlimited keyword, competitor and backlink research, rank tracking across the major engines, and the usual GA4, Google Search Console, Matomo and Data Studio integrations. Two limits are worth checking against your workflow: content marketing articles are capped at 25 on Core and 50 on Growth, and data exports at 50,000 and 100,000 rows.
Historical data separates the two tiers more than anything else in the plan table. Core keeps 6 months of it, Growth keeps everything for the life of the project, and Core also caps keyword database expansion at 17,500 rows against 50,000 on Growth. If you audit client sites over several years, that difference matters more than the project count.
The AI visibility limits, in plain numbers
SE Ranking's GEO features are the reason many buyers are comparing it with Semrush right now, and the quotas are specific enough to plan around.
- LLMs tracked: 5 on both Core and Growth (the page lists ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode among the surfaces covered).
- Prompts per day: 100 on Core, 250 on Growth, expandable through the AI Search add-on to 200, 450 or 1,000.
- AI competitive research: 5 domains on Core, 15 on Growth, with unlimited reports on both.
- AI sources tracking: unlimited on both tiers. The dashboard for brand mentions, citations and sentiment trends sits in the AI Search add-on, from 200 prompts on its base tier.
- On-page checker and SERP analyzer runs: 50 on Core, 1,000 on Growth.
Read together, the AI features are metered on prompts and competitor domains, not on reports. That is a friendlier structure than it looks: you can pull as many reports as you want on 100 prompts a day, but you cannot widen the prompt set without paying.
Add-ons: where the bill grows
SE Ranking keeps the more valuable features as add-ons rather than bundling them, and most of them require annual billing.
- Agency Pack, +$69.00/mo (annual only): white-label platform and reporting, 30 client seats, project tiers at 30, 50 or 100.
- AI Search, +$89.00/mo monthly or +$71.20/mo annual: tracking across AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity and ChatGPT, with prompt tiers at 200, 450 or 1,000.
- API add-on, +$45.00/mo (annual only): starts at 3 million credits and scales to 12 million or 60 million, covering the backlinks, domain analysis, keyword research, AI Search and website audit APIs.
- Standalone SE Ranking API, from $179.00/mo (annual only): for teams that want the data without the interface.
- Planable social management, from $33.00/mo: a separate product, discounted 20% when bundled with SE Ranking.
- Metered extras: additional manager seats from $16/mo, extra keywords from $22.40 on Core and from $32 on Growth, extra content articles from $39.20, extra local locations from $18.40. Those rows say "from" without naming the unit, so treat them as a starting point, not a fixed rate.
A realistic agency stack tells the story better than the plan table. Growth plus Agency Pack plus AI Search on annual billing lands at $363.40 per month, or $4,360.80 a year. Add the API add-on and it reaches $408.40 per month.
SE Ranking vs Semrush vs Ahrefs on entry price
The three platforms are usually compared on features, not the price of the cheapest plan with both billing modes visible. Here is the verified snapshot, taken from each vendor's own pricing page on September 28, 2026.
Semrush's entry SEO plan does include AI visibility reports for any domain and custom prompt monitoring, but its explicit quota of 50 prompts a day starts on Starter at $165.17/mo annual. SE Ranking Core carries 100 prompts a day at $103.20/mo annual. Ahrefs tracks 5 AI prompts and 750 keywords on Lite, and charges $40 to $100 per extra user per month depending on the tier.
If AI answer visibility is the reason you are buying, both SE Ranking and Semrush cover it at entry level, and SE Ranking gives you the larger prompt quota at the lower price. Ahrefs stays the pick when backlink data depth and its crawler matter most; its pricing page advertises up to 17% off for paying annually.
The catches: billing terms and metered limits
- Annual means upfront. The pricing FAQ states annual plans are billed in full to get the discount, and points buyers to sales to discuss alternatives such as quarterly payments under an annual commitment.
- Payments are non-refundable as a rule. The stated exception is a service not delivered as promised, or a promotion that says otherwise.
- Three products are annual-only: Agency Pack, the API add-on and the standalone API plan cannot be added on monthly billing.
- One session per login. Simultaneous users need paid seats, and view-only guest links are a Growth feature, not a Core one.
- Features are tier-locked. The FAQ says you cannot buy individual features from another plan, only upgrade a tier or pay for extra limits.
Is SE Ranking worth it, and which plan should you buy?
Ignoring the marketing copy, the decision comes down to how many sites you answer for and whether AI visibility is a reporting line.
- Solo consultant or single site: Core covers 10 projects and 2,000 daily keywords, and a second manager seat from $16/mo is cheaper than moving to Growth.
- Agency with client reporting: Growth plus Agency Pack, because white-label reporting and client seats are not available on Core.
- AI visibility as the main KPI: Growth plus AI Search, since 100 base prompts a day is thin once you track several brands.
- Data pipelines or in-house products: the API add-on at $45/mo, or the standalone API plan from $179/mo if nobody will open the UI.
- Large teams with unusual limits: Enterprise, which is quoted rather than listed.
Migration is worth weighing too. Free assisted migration is tied to an annual subscription: monthly buyers get self-serve import for projects and keyword ranking history, and support steps in when a previous platform is not on the list. If you are moving a multi-year client account, that pushes the annual commitment from a discount into a practical requirement.
The 14-day trial is fully functional at starter limits: 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords a day, 20 AI prompts a day and AI competitive research for 3 domains, with no credit card. Use it to test whether those caps feel tight by day three. If they do, the plan you want is probably a tier above the one you were considering.
