RoomProof Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026

RoomProof is a ToolBistro app for keeping room records and notes on your device. It does not require a RoomProof account. The app has no developer-operated upload server or third-party advertising or analytics SDK.

Your room records and selected photos

Room names, locations, notes, photo references, and the pictures you choose are stored in the app's local storage. The system photo picker lets you choose pictures; RoomProof handles the selected pictures, rather than uploading your photo library to ToolBistro.

RoomProof does not promise to remove location information or other metadata from a picture you choose. Check the information in your pictures before you export or share them.

PDF export and sharing

RoomProof creates PDF documents on the device. When you use the system share sheet, you choose the receiving person, app, or service. The document and its contents are then handled by that destination under its own terms and privacy practices. A PDF is a readable export; it is not a RoomProof restore archive.

Apple purchases and external links

Apple processes RoomProof Pro Lifetime purchases and restores through StoreKit. The app reads purchase entitlement status and keeps a local entitlement cache. ToolBistro does not receive your payment-card details.

Opening a web link leaves the app and may disclose ordinary website request information to the site you visit. Apple services and websites have their own privacy practices.

Retention, removal, and device backups

Your records remain in local app storage until that storage is removed. Deleting RoomProof from the device removes its local app storage. ToolBistro cannot retrieve that data from a developer server. Device backups, where enabled, are controlled by your device settings and backup service.

Copies of photos or PDFs that you saved elsewhere or shared with another person or service are separate from the app's local storage. Deleting the app does not remove those copies. This policy does not promise an in-app delete-all function or a cross-device recovery service.
